This week, our sermon series will focus on the third characteristic of the fruit of the Spirit: Peace. Peace is the concluding characteristic of the fruit triad, which primarily focuses on the work God is doing in our hearts—love, joy, and peace. We'll explore how this fruit of the Spirit is not directly tied to peace in our world, our homes, or our workplaces (though it certainly affects all those), but first and foremost, it's about personal inner peace. Where does this inner peace come from, and how do we receive it? Join us for worship on Saturday, August 31, as Pastor Chad continues his sermon series "Ripening" by looking at the characteristics of peace. If you'd like to join us in person, get directions to our new temporary home at the Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring (just 1 mile south of our permanent location): https://maps.app.goo.gl/UnxyLUn9pWqVWsTn9 We continue to solicit your prayers and ask for your patience as we sort through many of the logistical details of worshiping as a displaced congregation. Remember to say hello in the chat, and let us know where you're watching from! DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE?
