3 The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high, who says in his heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’
15 He said to them,
“You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
2 Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them,
3 and said,
“Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
2 For my hand has made all these things,
and so all these things came to be,” says Yahweh:
“but to this man will I look,
even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit,
and who trembles at my word.
15 For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
